DR 21
DR 21 is a huge molecular cloud located in the constellation of Cygnus. This area is located about 6,000 light-years away and extends for 80 light-years. The region contains a large amount of massive star formation. A number of different molecules have been detected in the region by their radio emission, including formaldehyde, ammonia, water and carbon monoxide.〔(DR21 Home Page )〕 In this area, the birth of one of the most massive stars of the Milky Way . DR 21 contains a large, almost empty bubbles and complex patterns of dust and gas. These fibers in the infrared light through them occurring in the organic ingredients known as PAHs . DR 21 jagged patterns resulting from interactions with the interstellar wind pressure, radiation, magnetic fields and gravity . Pictures taken with camera serial Infrared Spitzer Space Telescope have revealed a group of energetic, newly born stars. These stars tear gas and dust located around them. A single star of this group is 100 000 times brighter than the Sun. Such a star rejects hot stellar matter into the surrounding molecular cloud. This may indicate the existence of this group of stars around the protoplanetary disk . == References ==
